Software Tools Developer


Position Number: SE19

Position Description: The qualified person will primarily be responsible for developing and maintaining state-of-the-art software build scripts, product installs, configuration applications, and infrastructure software tools across Windows and UNIX based platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an automated build system using latest web technologies (servlet, jsp, tomcat, apache) to facilitate product development and delivery
  • Develop and maintain product install and configuration programs that deliver a great first impression on our customers
  • Develop infrastructure applications to facilitate productivity throughout the company using latest web technologies (servlet, jsp, tomcat, apache)
  • Develop an automated testing system, usable by development (unit testing) and QA (regression testing).
  • Establish and maintain product build and install standards and conventions
  • Document product build and install processes and procedures
  • Maintain and enhance DBI’s source code control system
  • Occasionally assist development team with code development and unit testing
  • Plan out work, estimate tasks, and deliver quality results on time

Position Number: SE20

Position Description: The qualified person will primarily be responsible for developing and maintaining state-of-the-art graphical user interfaces within a Windows Java/C# environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop aesthetically pleasing interactive graphical user interfaces
  • Assist in the design and development of DBI's client application framework
  • Define and estimate development tasks and deliver quality software on time
  • Stay abreast of current Java, C# and .Net technology and provide recommendations on how to leverage it to deliver industry leading product interfaces

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, or a 4 year degree in another field and 5+ years professional development experience.
  • At lest 4 years current experience developing Windows graphical user interfaces using C# and Java
  • Good object-oriented software development skills
  • Working knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems
  • SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2 database development experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with agile development techniques preferred


Account Manager

Position Description:

  • Overall account management including detailed account planning
  • Aggressive prospecting in new and existing accounts
  • Highly service oriented account management
  • Effective, efficient, and accurate forecasting and pipeline management
  • Responsible for the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Responsible for coordinating the appropriate resources throughout the sales cycle

Job Experience/Traits of a successful applicant:

  • College/University Degree
  • Minimum 1 year experience selling

  • Experience calling on director level and above
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or a related sales automation tool is a plus
